Privacy

Is my library private?; What gettor collects about you.

Your library is private to your account. Access is checked before files can be listed, downloaded, or played.

How access is protected

  • Files are stored per account and are not shared between users.
  • Downloads and playback require an authorized session before a link is issued.
  • Delivery links are short-lived, limited to one file and action, and checked on each request.
  • There are no public file links, share buttons, or directory listings.

What gettor will not do with your files

gettor does not make your files public, sell them, provide them to advertisers, or use them to train machine-learning models.

Note: Staff may act on specific files in response to a valid copyright notice, and accounts may be disabled for abuse as described in the policies.

What gettor collects about you

Account details, transfer and library activity, plan usage, and server logs. Server and security logs are kept for 30 days.

The Privacy Policy is the authoritative source. This article summarizes the main categories.

Service providers

The Privacy Policy lists netcup for servers and file storage, Hostinger for mail, and Google for optional sign-in and reCAPTCHA. A payment provider will be added before payments are accepted.

Note: Referral sign-up addresses are stored both as the address and as a one-way hash. The hash helps detect referral abuse without relying only on readable addresses.
