Error messagesA sign-in lasts up to 8 hours, or up to 30 days with Remember this device, and can end sooner for account-security reasons.
Sign in again to continue. If this keeps happening unexpectedly, check your active sessions.
- The sign-in reached its limit: 8 hours, or 30 days if you chose Remember this device. Closing the browser also ends a sign-in that was not remembered.
- You changed your password, which ends every other session.
- You used Sign out everywhere.
- The session was revoked from the Where you are signed in list.
- The account was disabled.
If it happens repeatedly
Check Where you are signed in under Account. If you see unknown sessions or repeated unexplained sign-outs, use Sign out everywhere and change your password.
Note: An expired session can interrupt downloads or playback. Sign in again and retry.
