When your library is over its storage limit
StorageExisting files stay available. New transfers cannot add storage until you are back under the limit.
Your library can become over quota after moving to a smaller plan. An amber banner appears when this happens.
What still works
- Existing files remain in place and are not deleted for being over the storage limit.
- Downloads and playback carry on normally.
- Renaming, moving and organising are unaffected.
What stops
New transfers cannot add storage while the library is over quota. Delete enough files to get under the limit or move to a plan that fits your library.
Note: gettor blocks new storage instead of deleting existing files when your plan's storage limit becomes smaller.
