Downloading a folder as a ZIP

Choose Download folder as ZIP, or select several files and use the ZIP action. Your browser downloads the archive as one file.
Why this is often the better option
- It is one download, so it uses one parallel-download slot rather than many.
- The folder structure is preserved inside the archive.
- It is one thing to resume if the connection drops, rather than twenty.
What it counts
ZIP downloads count toward the same monthly allowance as downloading the files individually.
Note: A ZIP needs at least one file. Empty folders or selections cannot be archived.

ZIP archives have a size limit. If you exceed it, download the files individually or in smaller groups.
ZIP size is limited because building very large archives uses substantial delivery capacity.
What to do instead
- Tick a smaller group of files and zip those, then repeat.
- Or zip subfolders one at a time rather than the parent.
- Or download the largest files individually and zip the remainder.
Tip: Sort by Largest to find which files are pushing a ZIP selection over the limit.
