“This account has been disabled”

Account settings

A disabled account cannot sign in until support resolves it.

A disabled account cannot sign in, and its existing download and playback links stop working.

Why it happens

  • Repeat copyright infringement — three valid notices within 12 months.
  • Content that is never permitted under any circumstances.
  • Fair-use escalation that did not resolve at earlier steps.
  • Attacking or probing the service.

What to do

Sign in with your password or Google as usual. When the account is disabled, the sign-in page offers Request a review: tell us what happened, and a person reviews it and emails the decision to the account's address. Mistaken disables can be reversed; closure for repeat infringement is permanent.

Note: If an account is closed, its library is deleted at that moment and cannot be restored. Raise any dispute while the account is disabled, before it is closed.
