What you and the person you invited get

Rewards

What you and the person you invited get; When an invite actually counts.

A qualifying referral grants extra storage to both accounts — the person who invited and the person who was invited. The default grant is 2 GB each.

There is a ceiling

Earned storage is capped at 10 GB in total, so referrals top up a plan rather than replace one. Invites beyond the cap still qualify; they simply do not add more space.

What the extra storage is

Ordinary storage, added to your plan’s allowance. It does not change any other limit — not the largest-torrent cap, not either monthly allowance, and not how many transfers run at once.

Note: Reward amounts may change. The referral panel shows the current reward before you share your link.

When an invite actually counts

Two conditions: a verified email address, and a first completed transfer.

Signing up is not enough on its own. An invite qualifies when the person you invited has both verified their email address and completed one transfer.

Why both

Either one alone is trivial to fake in bulk. Requiring a completed transfer means a referral has to represent somebody who actually used the service, which is the only version of the programme worth running.

If an invite is not paying out

  • Check the panel: Invited without Qualified means they have not finished a first transfer.
  • They may not have verified their email address, which also blocks them from starting one.
  • The invite may be held for review — see Why an invite is held for review.

Tip: The most useful thing you can do for a pending invite is tell them to check their spam folder for the verification email. That is the step people stall on.
