One account per person
The terms allow one account per person, and you must be 16 or older. Spreading usage across several accounts to get past a limit is treated as unfair use rather than as cleverness.
Tip: Use an address you can receive mail at. Password resets and account notices go there.
Signing in with Google
A Google account works instead of a password, and it verifies your email address for you.
gettor accepts Google sign-in as an alternative to an email and password. It is the same account either way — the difference is only how you prove it is you.
What it changes
- Your email address is verified immediately, because Google has already confirmed it.
- There is no gettor password to remember, lose or reset.
- Your Google account’s own two-factor protection applies at the sign-in step.
Why the password page says there is nothing to change
An account created through Google has no gettor password, so there is nothing to change on the password page.
Note: gettor receives your email address and basic profile from Google, nothing else. It cannot read your mail, your files or your contacts.
